My interest in sewing began during COVID in 2020 where I bought my first sewing machine on a whim and started sewing. Over the years my interest in sewing continued to grow. I knew very fast wanted to pursue sewing as a career and start my own business. At the time I began sewing I just was not at the point where I thought I could put the time and effort that I wanted to into a business. I also wanted to continue to grow my knowledge and skills of my craft so that I could produce the quality I felt proud of in my products.

In 2022 I met my husband, and he encouraged me to start my business. But I still felt I was not ready. I kept sewing and began sewing bags and ended up creating my first XL Overnight Tote Bag. From that moment I knew I wanted to focus on bags and accessories for my business. I continued to sew and my husband kept encouraging me to start my business. I kept pushing it off and off. My husband and I got married in 2023, adopted our dog Kyra in the beginning of 2024 and shortly after that we found we were pregnant with our son. We decided that I would stay home with our son full time after he was born. With the encouragement from my husband and feeling that the timing felt right I got my business license in July of 2024 officially establishing Made By Juliet Naris. Shortly after we welcomed our son in September. In January 2025, I knew it was time to really focus on my business. So here I am, now taking care of my babies and sewing in my spare time. I have wanted to start this business for so long and I am so thankful that I now am at a point where I can do what I love and shared my products with the world.

Everything I make is made out of love for my craft. I try to waste as little material as I can. I believe there is a use for everything. It is one of my favorite parts of what I do, coming up with a product that was before just a simple fabric scrap. I appreciate you taking the time to read this and get to know me and my story.
